Monroe

Two seniors look inside a antique car during a recent Monroe picnic.Lutheran Home Monroe is the original Lutheran Home, which began in 1893. The modern building has 122 skilled nursing beds, all in private rooms, dually certified for Medicare and Medicaid. One wing of the home is set up as a memory care unit.

The Home has a beautiful, ornate chapel, built after a generous donation from a friend of the Home.

Creekside Village, near the home, consists of 11 single-story buildings, housing 77 private apartments, including 32 one-bedroom and 45 two-bedroom units. It also has a single-story, comfortable and spacious clubhouse. It was built in 2005 in partnership with the Michigan Housing Development Authority. It provides affordable housing for low and moderate income residents.

Creekside Village

Creekside was built in 2005 in partnership with the Michigan Housing Development Authority to provide affordable housing for low and moderate income Michigan residents.

Creekside consists of eleven single-story buildings with 32 one-bedroom apartments, and 45 two-bedroom apartments.

There is a single-story clubhouse for residents, as well.

For qualified tenants, rents range from $336 to $819 for one bedroom, and $400-$950 for two bedroom.
