The Village of Hampton Meadows, constructed in 2008, is a Victorian-inspired building with 50 one-bedroom modern apartments. They were built in a partnership between Lutheran Homes of Michigan, Presbyterian Villages of Michigan and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The apartments offer wall-to-wall carpeting, an emergency call system, individually controlled heating and cooling, fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator/freezer and front panel controls on the stove, and hand-held showerheads. There are specially-designed apartments for mobility-impaired residents.

The Village also features an activity and computer center, wellness exercise room, library/reading room and a beauty/barber shop. It’s conveniently located near shopping, healthcare facilities, restaurants, recreation, entertainment, and other services.

Hampton Meadows is for seniors 62 or older who meet specified income limits. Rent is based on 30 percent of their adjusted gross annual income.
